Europe Tour '98

London - Paris

A few years or so ago a journey to the old world was undertaken by a select group of VVHS students, teachers and parents. This is a brief travelogue of that journey.

London, England - June 10-14, 1998
	June 10 Airports and planes..
	June 11 Hey! Where're our rooms? And can we get any potato salad around here?
	June 12 Nigel and the great bus jaunt through London, and off to the Hamptons.
	June 13 Shopping day , then off to dinner and the theatre!
	June 14 The chunnel, and Paris! However, my day was spent at the British Museum.

Paris, France - June 14-18, 1998
	June 14 Paris, first night in? I was still in England.
	June 15 The Louvre and a walk around Paris, then the boatride on the Seine. Meanwhile, I finally arrive in Paris.
	June 16 The group went to Versailles, while I hiked the tree-lined avenues of Paris all day. Some kids enjoyed a late taxi ride.
	June 17 The longest day! Bus to Chartres, and the chateau country, then dinner and a final hike to Montmartre.
	June 18 Back to the airport, and home..
