The main group, somehow getting by without me, took a walking tour of Paris, visiting the Louvre and surrounding area,
posing adorably from time to time,
and finished up the day with a boat ride down the Seine.

Ah, Paris! Meanwhile, I finally made it by Chunnel train, never saw the sea or any hint of it, but beautiful countryside on both sides.
My big sister suggested this hotel (see the red pin?) in the near center of Paris, in an alley about 50 yards from the Seine bookseller stalls. Very civilized and extremely helpful people, free breakfast, huge bathtub, out the door and there's the cafes, it was incredible. First I took some shots out my window,
then down to the river in the rain.
