A cabin with a view is a must.
Out my portal that Sunday morning rose St. Thomas. Not the best day for shopping, but a very cool town for strolling.
A mall of shops in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas.
The hike back to the ship was just a little too far, but gave me a good look at the ship.
The Holiday in St. Thomas Harbour.
Then came the first of many memorable ferryboats and taxis.
Me, Lynne.
The first taxi ride was up and over the hump of St. Thomas in rollercoaster mode, but the ferry took us smoothly to St. John and another taxi ride took us to Trunk Beach.
Coming up on the beach.
And now for your snorkeling pleasure, one of the top twenty spots in the world.
Crowded with snorkelers, but more fish than people, colorful coral, informational signs underwater, a bar, showers, beach, the whole deal.
More outstanding clouds.
Back to the ship (ferries and taxis are to be inferred from here on) for a fabulous five-course meal, and the first of the folded towels.
Folded towels? Yeah, sure, until Friday.
